1. Unplug the appliance to cut off the power supply.
2. Open the Filter Cap to gain access to the Filter Pump and Emergency Draining Hose.
3. Pull the Emergency Draining Hose out from its housing.
4. Place a container at the end of the hose and remove the blue plug from the end to release the water.
5. Replace the blue plug into the end of the Emergency Draining Hose.
6. Fix the Emergency Draining Hose back into its housing.
7. Close the Filter Cap.
8. Your machine has now been emptied. You can now safely turn the mains water back on.
